details on September 12 Interfaith event: Sharing Our Texts

Wow! I’ve been really surprised by the friendly and encouraging emails I’ve received — mostly from people I don’t (yet) know personally — expressing interest in this!

The plans are taking shape…. We’ll be gathering on Sunday, 12 September, 1-3pm in the picnic area of Gabriel Park (along SW Vermont). In the event of inclement weather, we can just head across the street to the Laughing Planet Cafe in the strip mall at the corner of SW Vermont and SW 45th (4405 SW Vermont).

For a re-cap of what we’re doing and why, read yesterday’s post.

I have some books and texts I can bring to share on-site. If you have others you’d like to bring, too, that would be great!

At this point, I have no idea how many people might show up — I’ll be there regardless. If you’re planning on being there, could you drop me a line?

Thanks! I’m looking forward to meeting you and reading/sharing together.

VALHALLA by Jennifer Willis

Valhalla: A YA urban fantasy romp through the Pacific Northwest with Norse gods, hungry Berserkers, a teenaged witch, a mystical tree and even some Voodoo Doughnuts!

"Jennifer is a dream to work with. I've worked with her on myriad assignments and I've always been delighted with her writing. She's creative at coming up with her own ideas as well as excellent at taking direction and suggestions. Her work is crisp, clean and delivered on time and in the correct format and she responds quickly and professionally to any questions. I highly recommend her for any sort of writing project."
